Full Name, Mobile Number, Email Address, and Delivery Address required for account creation and delivery.
Prescription images uploaded by you, medicine order history, and health preferences strictly used for pharmacist verification.
Device model, Operating System version, IP address, push notification tokens, and diagnostic crash logs.
Approximate or precise location to automatically populate delivery address and match nearest partner pharmacies.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Order Fulfillment: To process your medicine orders and coordinate delivery with authorized licensed pharmacies.
- Prescription Verification: Allowing certified registered pharmacists to inspect doctor prescriptions before dispensing Rx medicines.
- Authentication & Security: Sending OTP for secure phone login and preventing fraudulent transactions.
- Customer Support: Assisting you with order updates, prescription queries, and delivery tracking via Phone, WhatsApp, or Email.
3. Android App Permissions Disclosures
In compliance with Google Play Developer policies, below is the transparent breakdown of Android permissions requested:
Used solely for taking photos of prescriptions or selecting prescription images from gallery to upload.
Used to auto-detect your delivery address for fast medicine dispatch.
Used to notify you about live order dispatch, tracking, and medicine refill alerts.
4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
DawaSaathi strictly limits third-party data sharing exclusively to essential service partners:
- Licensed Partner Pharmacies: Only order details and prescriptions required to package and verify medicines.
- Logistics & Delivery Executives: Name, delivery address, and phone number shared strictly to navigate and hand over order packages.
- Legal Obligations: We may disclose information if required by applicable Indian health laws or court orders.
5. Data Security & Encryption
We employ industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical safeguards including TLS/SSL encryption for data in transit and encrypted database storage at rest.
6. User Data Rights & Account Deletion
In accordance with Google Play's User Data policy on Account Deletion, users have the right to request deletion of their account and all associated personal data.

- Our support team will verify your request within 24-48 hours and erase your account, profile, and order records (except mandatory statutory tax retention).
